The Charity Stripe® programs are perfect for groups/organizations that “believe in the greater good” and possess a strong desire to “make their mark by making a difference” to military families, cancer patients and the disabled/disadvantaged.

Fraternities/Sororities

Music: Music To Their Ears®
  • Who’s got talent?
    Who’s got the best chops, pipes and instrumentals in your house, Greek system or campus?. Pop, hip hop, rap, rock, dance, classical, country. Sing it and bring it or play it! Host a musical talent show and charge admission
  • Musical concert
    Host a musical concert at your house or on campus and collect donations
Basketball: Free Throws For Heroes®, Free Throws For The Fight® and Troop Dreams®
  • Free Throw or Three-Point Contest
    Get your brothers and sisters to shoot “X” free throws or 3-point shots and collect pledges/donations for every shot made. It’s a slam dunk at the free throw line.
  • “Charity Stripe® Challenge”
    Free Throw or Three Point Contest Marathon. Better yet, challenge another house or even get the entire Greek system involved in a campus-wide free throw/3-point marathon. How many free throws can you make in one hour? How about 24 hours straight? Each free throw made equals a charitable contribution.
  • Play “Horse For Heroes”
    Who’s the best “House Horse player?”  Get a flat donation for each participant. Bring out those trick shots and be sure to take videos and pictures.
  • Troop Dreams® 3 on 3 or 5 on 5 tournament
    Charge a flat donation per participating team. How about getting your school’s intramural basketball teams involved to really score big donations and have a lot of fun for a great cause.
Baseball/Softball: Batter Up For The Brave®, Batter Up To Battle Cancer® and Homers For Heroes®
  • Softball or wiffle ball tournament
    Batter Up! Cover all the bases and score big donations by charging a flat donation per participating team.
  • Home run contest
    Talk about a home run! Challenge your brothers and sisters, even the entire Greek system to see who can go deep and hit it out of the park. Charge an admission fee for each participant or get donations for every ball hit over the fence.
Football: Huddle Up For Heroes®, Huddle Up To Tackle Cancer®, Go The Extra Yard®, TD Throws For Heroes
  • Tackle or flag football tournament
    Charge a flat donation per participating team…maybe even organize a campus-wide event.
  • Table top/flick football tournament
    (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIlVe3yrMM0 ). Play an old favorite against your friends and see who’s the flick football king or queen. Collect a flat donation for each player who enters.
  • Go The Extra Yard® tailgate party
    Set up a tailgate table before each football game to collect donations from fans/spectators.
Hockey: Light The Lamp, Brighten A Life®, Saves For The Brave™
  • Street hockey/floor hockey tournament
    Charge a flat donation per participating team…maybe even organize a campus-wide event
Volleyball: Serve Our Troops™ and Serve, Set, Spike For The Fight™
  • Volleyball/sand volleyball tournament
    Charge a flat donation per participating team…maybe even organize a campus-wide event
  • Bikini and bathing suits volleyball marathon
    Get the entire Greek system involved in a 24-hour volleyball marathon to keep the ball in play for those in need. Collect a flat donation per player/team
Exercise/Fitness: Train for our Troops™, Get Fit For The Fight™
  • Feats of Fitness Charity Stripe Challenge
    Enjoy the fun, fit way to get a healthy amount of donations. Encourage your brothers and sisters, even the entire Greek system to set a fitness goal and get pledges when they reach their goal. Feats of fitness can include:
    -  Total miles or laps per day, per week or per month (running, walking, biking or swimming)
    -  Total push-ups, sit-ups and/or jump roping per day, week or month
    -  Total weight lifted or reps per day, week of month
    -  Total time spent in aerobics activities like dancing, kickboxing and spinning
Bowling: Stars, Stripes & Strikes™ and Get The Ball Rolling™
  • Bowling Tournament
    Host a bowling tournament at a local alley. Charge a flat donation per participating player or team…maybe even organize a Greek/campus-wide event.
Golf: Hole It For Our Heroes™, Cure It On The Course™
  • Golf tournament
    Host a golf tournament at a local golf or mini golf course. Charge a flat donation per participating player or foursome…maybe even organize a Greek/campus-wide event.
  • Donation “Drive”
    Host a longest drive contest. Charge a flat donation for participants and see who is the king or queen of the swing to really drive up those donations
  • Closest to the pin
    Head out to the course, driving range or putting green and see who can put it closest to the pin
